Evan Sullivan, a Missouri resident, is filing suit against the United Parcel Service after the bucket truck he was working on was truck by a UPS truck. Utah resident Jillian Seymour is filing suit against James Morrison and Werner Enterprises after she was sexually assaulted by Morrison at a rest stop along I-15. Seymour had pulled over after feeling ill while driving. Morrison approached her and tried to make conversation, stating that he had been stuck at the rest stop all night due to a truck break-down. The suit alleges plaintiff and decedent went shopping together at the Wal-Mart. Due to decedent's various health problems she used a non-motorized wheelchair. Plaintiff used the hand brakes to lock the wheelchair when he went to get his truck to pick up his wife at the front door. The brakes were defective and the wheel chair began to roll over the edge of the curb, tipping onto decedent. Sharon Ebenstein sustained multiple broken ribs and died one month later of an infection. Man sues after being tortured by royal family member in United Arab Emirates.
Bassam Nabulsi and Rima Nabulsi are filing suit against H.H. Sheikh Issa Bin Zayed Al Nayan, after plaintiff and his family were falsely arrested and tortured by defendant, a member of the Abu-Dhabi royal family of the United Arab Emirates, in an attempt to recover incriminating videotapes of brutal torture crimes initiated by defendant against an employee. The torture included shocking the man with a cattle prod in the genitals and anus; beating him in the head with a spiked board; pouring salt on the wounds; pouring gas and lighting the man's pubic area on fire; and driving a truck slowly over the man's body. Amazingly, the employee survived with the help of plaintiff and his Houston hospital for mid-eastern nationals. Price: $10
